A Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor who started in the treatment field in June of 1974, John Will has worked in residential treatment centers, long term outpatient programs and psychiatric and dual-disorder programs, as well as in private practice. With initial training at the University of Houston Alcohol Counseling Course in 1973, he is also trained in motivational interviewing, trauma resolution therapy, adolescent alternative peer groups, couples counseling and multifamily group counseling. This wide range of experience has led John to develop an eclectic style that honors each person as an individual with their own goals and needs. He is best known for bringing his humor, knowledge and supportive style to working with teens, young adults, older adults, partners and parents, making therapeutic exploration fun and beneficial.
