Mia Banda

LCSW · Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Mia has pursued mental health work since high school. During her freshman year, she understood the importance of creating a genuine connection as others shared their personal stories in her teen leadership class. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston, where she worked at the GENESIS lab providing educational lessons to youth with learning disabilities in a juvenile detention center. This experience fueled her interest in social justice, leading her to obtain a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work.

She interned at Ethos Wellness during her final graduate year and currently serves as a Fellow there. She approaches clients through a compassionate and understanding lens while pursuing specialized training in family and couples therapy.
