Cody Plant employs a strengths-based practice that incorporates a variety of methodologies and psychotherapeutic theories. His prior experience includes work at The Prairie Recovery Center, providing clinical services for addiction and mood disorders. He earned his Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, where his training included psychiatric social work and a clinical practicum at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. There he gained expertise in cognitive behavioral therapies, dialectical behavioral therapy, and work with diverse populations experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and OCD.
At Ethos Wellness, he facilitates the PRISM program, a DBT-based Intensive Outpatient Program teaching emotional regulation skills, and counsels clients across all age groups. His approach emphasizes evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care alongside positive psychology and humanistic methods.
