  • Masters of Art in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Program, Wake Forest University
  • Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Texas A&M University

An exemplary, long-spanning career in mental health and finance has put customer-centered-care at the heart of Ceci’s work. She gathered a wealth of professional experience at one of the nation’s largest residential summer camps and The Lovett Center, which provided her with a unique lens to approach treatment in both outpatient and residential settings. Through various opportunities spanning her adult life, she has had the privilege of helping others navigate deep waters.  

Ceci lives with intention and has a great desire to encourage those around her to live intentionally as well. Outside of her profession, she is dedicated to her husband and five children. She loves to read, travel, learn about new cultures and practice yoga.

SOPHIE FRONK

  • Associate of Science in Curriculum of Human Services, Berkshire Community College 

Sophie has vast experience in working with children and adolescents from various backgrounds. Her journey began as a Mental Health Associate at The Menninger Clinic, and she then transitioned to becoming the first Wellness Counselor at Memorial High School. There, she helped establish the wellness counseling program with Communities in Schools of Houston.

Sophie brings her great passion for working with children, adolescents and families into to her interactive therapeutic approach. She works to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment to help clients realize their potential, their strengths and their courage in overcoming life’s struggles. She believes everyone has the power to succeed in healing from their trauma and provides the tools to implement that. She supports finding one’s authentic self and feeling whole and complete again, whilst utilizing coping mechanisms to handle any struggles that may arise.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, watching food network cooking shows and the Hallmark channel, and playing with her rescue dog, Gravy.

MICHAEL FRONK

Education:

  • Master of Social Work – Clinical Track, University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work
  • Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, New York State University at Albany      

Michael specializes in working with people who struggle with depression, family/relationship issues, addiction and recovery. His additional areas of expertise include treating mood disorders, personality disorders, anger, grief, trauma, and personal life challenges in individual and group settings.

Michael works with a warm, understanding spirit to help clients discover new, positive possibilities for their lives. He incorporates several theoretical perspectives and methodologies to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. He tells others, “there is hope, there is healing, and you are not alone.”

For as long as he can remember, Michael has felt a strong connection to people through common struggles and felt hope in that connection. He moved to Houston from Albany, New York with his wife to study and be near family, and discovered the compassion of people in recovery fellowship along the way. From there, he found the pathway to his dream of becoming a therapist.
