Evan Smith is a Fellow and Clinician at Ethos Wellness who brings a blend of lived experience and evidence-based practice to his therapeutic work. His career began as a paraprofessional at the OCD Institute of Texas, doing Exposure and Response Prevention coaching for OCD and anxiety conditions. He later completed an internship at Luna Integrative Care in Houston, where he developed group psychotherapy skills.
Evan works primarily with adults and older teens navigating OCD, Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD), anxiety-related disorders, and personality disorders. He has a special interest in working with athletes and non-sport performers, drawing on his collegiate athletics background, and is passionate about supporting racial and ethnic minorities navigating identity.
He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) within a warm, collaborative approach. Evan values authenticity and curiosity in therapy and offers sliding scale fees for accessibility. He is supervised by Janet Harrison, LPC-S, LMFT-S.
