Margot Desaloms, LPC-A, is a fellow and clinician at Ethos Wellness who blends compassion, creativity, and evidence-based care to support her clients’ growth. Margot works primarily with children (ages 4-10), adolescents (ages 11-18), and young adults, helping them build resilience and navigate life’s challenges.
Margot specializes in play therapy and adolescent activity counseling. Her areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and challenges with emotional regulation and frustration tolerance. Margot uses an integrative approach in her practice by incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered therapy.
As a Dallas native, Margot earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where she specialized in children, adolescents, and play therapy. She is dedicated to providing developmentally appropriate, thoughtfully informed care in a space where clients and their families feel seen, heard, and valued.
Outside of the counseling room, Margot enjoys running, traveling, playing mahjong, needlepointing, and watching all types of sports, especially college football.
