OTR, MOT, ADHD-RSP, Licensed Occupational Therapist · Ethos Wellness Woodway

Erin received her B.S. in Rehabilitation & Disability Services from Auburn University before moving to Houston in 2014 to work in administration and operations for a nonprofit organization. She has experience working with children in a variety of roles, including volunteer mentorship positions and working as an Assistant Director for a children’s residential summer camp. Erin received her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Houston in 2019, completing clinical rotations in hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient pediatric settings. Erin has 6 years of experience providing pediatric occupational therapy services in the outpatient clinic setting. Her particular areas of interest include handwriting, fine motor skill development, visual skills, sensory processing, and supporting children in the school setting. Erin also has additional training in supporting individuals with ADHD, and is an ADHD-Certified Rehabilitation Services Provider.

Erin sees pediatric clients as an Occupational Therapist at Ethos Wellness Woodway for individualized treatment sessions. As the practice of occupational therapy is to support engagement in a person’s daily activities, she is able to address areas of difficulty that impact a child’s performance in school, play, self-care skills, social participation, and more. Erin enjoys connecting with kids and families to foster development of functional skills and promote growth, independence, and improved self-esteem. She believes in the power of play as a therapeutic tool, and aims to create engaging treatment sessions that are centered around each child’s interests and incorporate their strengths. Erin holds collaboration with families as essential to the therapeutic process, and seeks to provide education and tools for parents to best support their children at home. As the Children’s Services Program Coordinator, Erin helps families navigate the Ethos Wellness program offerings to find the best fit to support their children.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
