Tad’s clinical focus is serving both couples and individuals struggling with trauma, troubles of the heart, and easing human sadness while fostering joy, peace, and deepening communication skills and intimacy. Tad combines a welcoming countenance and client acceptance to create a safe place to develop awareness, forgiveness, trust, and healing. With a collaborative, conversational style, Tad blends the most current research and established, proven therapeutic protocols with the uniqueness of each individual for an experience focused on your personal needs and goals. He has over 36 years of combined clinical and executive-level business experience and is clinically trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, The Gottman Method, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and clinical social work. Tad is a fellow at The Lovett Center and helped to found ‘A Future and a Hope Ministries’, a local non-profit to provide affordable, faith-based mental health services to the community. He received his Master’s degree from the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work and is committed to pursuing continuous education. He is currently in the process of completing a two-year post-graduate psychodynamic psychotherapy training program with the Houston Center for Psychodynamic Studies.Tad and his wife have been married for more than 35 years. He is the father of an adult daughter and son, and godfather to two little boys. Tad has lived and worked in the Houston area for over 25 years.
