Sammie Jones

Sammie graduated from the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and is licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been working in the mental health industry since 1990.
She held positions in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities before and after obtaining her LPC license. She maintains active membership with the Texas Counseling Association and the Houston Counseling Association.
Sammie has been in private practice since 2002 and owns Houston Psychotherapists, Inc. She has also been the lead facilitator of The PRISM Center's DBT-based Intensive Outpatient Program in Cypress, Texas, since its inception in 2015.
