Director of Business Development, Ethos Behavioral Health Group

As Director of Business Development for all Ethos Behavioral Health Group healing centers, Lisa enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with clients, families, care providers and community partners, serving as the link between patients and the best possible resources for their needs.

Lisa attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and is trained as a classical vocalist. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Performing Arts with emphasis in costume and set design, minoring in English, from Texas A&M University in College Station.

After college, Lisa was recruited by Neiman Marcus to be an assistant buyer in intimate apparel and to help design private label sleepwear within her buying office. In the midst of her transition back to Houston, she was asked to run a theater program for children and teach journalism at a private Catholic school. She fell in love with education and the gifts she saw in her students, and from there, she started her own tutoring and educational consulting business.

Lisa began her business development career at Fusion Academy, a revolutionary one-on-one school for students with special circumstances. During that time, Lisa met with therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and other professionals in order to connect the families and students she served with the best possible resources. She continued broadening her experience at addiction recovery and mental health centers across Houston.

In her current role, Lisa places a huge importance on education and learning. She educates her professional contacts on all Ethos Behavioral Health Group has to offer and what makes their treatment unique, and her love for learning fuels her excitement as she seeks to explore other practices, speciality therapies, and what they can offer clients. She is a fierce advocate for those who struggle with mental health and substance use issues and takes this role very seriously.

At home, Lisa is a mother of two boys, ages 9 and 12, and they are her entire world. She grew up in a big, faith-centered family of four children, and faith is still very important to her. Her family also instilled in her a passion for cooking, and she prides herself on her homemade Italian food and donuts. Lisa is an active singer and musician, often performing at venues around Houston or leading church worship events nationally. As an independent Christian recording artist, her music can be found on Spotify under “Lisa Renee.”
